This new 32,500 SF building on the east side of Concourse D in the existing North Ground Transportation Lot at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport houses multiple hold rooms for the hardstand operations. OCI led the civil engineering for the project, performing design of site layout, utilities, and stormwater drainage, while also providing construction management support services. In 2019, Engineering News Record Northwest named Concourse D Hardstands as Best Project in the Airport/Transit category.

With 22 years of work in civil engineering and project management, Robert’s extensive experience includes both local public sector and private sector projects. He has provided civil, utilities, grading and drainage designs for apartments, multifamily housing, condominiums, roads, utilities, retail, offices, university facilities and parks. In addition, Robert has designed many low-impact design systems including bio-retention/rain garden systems, porous pavement (pavers, concrete, asphalt, gravel, grass) and rain water cisterns.
