ProjectWise Knowledge Base
ProjectWise Explorer (click for the Bentley help manual) is a Windows program that allows for interface between a user and the Osborn Consulting datasource, which contain work areas, folders and documents. It is a required install.

You may need to reach out to your network or system administrator in your company’s IT team in order to install ProjectWise Explorer.
- If you did not click the Run button find the installation file (pwclt100003434en.exe) and double-click it.
- When the wizard opens keep the default installation location and check the box to accept the license agreement.
- Click Next.
- Click Install.
- When installation is complete, click Finish.
- Configuring the Osborn Consulting Datasource

You may need to reach out to your network or system administrator in your company’s IT team in order to configure the Osborn Consulting datasource.
- Find the newly installed ProjectWise Explorer app and open it.
- Click Tools and then Network Configuration Settings… You are also able to configure the settings by going to the Windows Control Panel and clicking on the ProjectWise Network
- Click the DNS Services tab and fill out the following:
- Name: Osborn Consulting
- Hostname: osbornconsulting-pw.bentley.com
- Port: 5800
- Click Add. Or, click Accept if you are configuring through the Control Panel.
- Click the Datasource Listing tab and fill out the following:
- Name: Osborn Consulting
- Hostname: osbornconsulting-pw.bentley.com
- Port: 5800
- Click Add. Or, click Accept if you are configuring through the Control Panel.
- Click Apply and then OK. Or, click Save if configuring through the Control Panel.
- When opening ProjectWise Explorer there will now be the Osborn Consulting Production datasource listed on the left-hand side. Expand that datasource to log in. Credentials should have already been provided.
