To maximize public and student use of the fields, the school installed a synthetic turf softball field and a combined synthetic football, lacrosse, and soccer field with surrounding rubberized track.  Due to poor soil conditions, a cement treated base with flat underdrain system was utilized.  Maximizing site efficiency, stormwater detention pipes are located under the football field from which water is metered out into the adjacent wetland complex.
