Osborn Consulting (OCI) is a sponsor for the annual Women in Leadership Symposium to be held on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2016 from 8:30AM – 6:00PM at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center. This is OCI’s third time participating in the event; OCI President Tarelle Osborn spoke at the 2014 symposium on “Defining What Drives You” and OCI has sponsored the event since then. Our own Alma Rettinger, an OCI Project Manager, is on the Planning Committee for the Symposium as the Registration and Website Lead.
The Women in Leadership Symposium is a part of PNWS-AWWA Personal Leadership Committee. It is a full day event designed to motivate, inspire, and connect women from all stages of their career. The speakers and sessions highlight local women leaders who will share their professional insight and experiences. Opening with a presentation from Danielle Pedi, Program Officer for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the symposium continues with other prestigious speakers and afternoon sessions accompanied by knowledgeable and experienced moderators who are also local women leaders.
Registration is still open through January 29th, with early-bird registration ending tomorrow, January 21st. There is a discount available for students and the cost includes a light breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. The key speakers include:
Get Inspired | Danielle Pedi, Program Officer – Water, Sanitation & Hygiene, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
