Osborn Consulting, Inc. (OCI) is excited to announce that Liz Browning, PLA, is our new Landscape Architecture and Urban Design Practice Lead! Liz is an incredibly talented landscape architect and project manager who joined us in 2019, when Cascade Design Collaborative team members united with OCI. She has been an invaluable leader and mentor and we are thrilled to support her vision in leading our group of talented landscape architects and urban designers. Join us in sharing a huge congratulations for Liz!
Liz and OCI have had the honor of working with Kas Kinkead, PLA, FASLA, for the last three years. Kas now serves as Principal Emeritus to our Landscape Architecture and Urban Design Practice, offering mentorship, providing design guidance, and remaining involved in your projects. We are grateful to Kas for the incredible reputation and body of work she has established in our industry, serving communities from K-12 to various public agencies, and we are fortunate to have her continue to be a key team member here at OCI.
Liz and Kas came together to chat about their excitement for the future of our Landscape Architecture and Urban Design Practice in the following video:
As you have opportunities to work with Liz in the future (if you haven’t already), you will quickly see why she is the perfect person to be forging the future of our Landscape Architecture and Urban Design Practice – and you might also find she is happy to share tips on the best PNW paddleboarding and open-water swim spots, or hidden gems of local breweries!
Liz has been designing a diverse variety of landscapes in the Pacific Northwest for nearly two decades. She is passionate about designing well-crafted, responsive, and generous places in the public realm and her projects range in scale and type, with a focus on school and campus facilities, public urban spaces, streetscapes, and forward-thinking urban development. An experienced project manager, Liz has worked on all project phases from planning and community outreach through design, documentation, and construction. Her design work includes carefully shaped and vegetated spaces with attention to detail and technical proficiency. Past work of Liz’s includes the award-winning King County Library in Skyway, WA.
Thank you for joining us in celebrating Liz, and for your continued partnership.
