It’s a rare occasion when my wife and I dress up for an event, but this was for a great cause, so we made an exception. Many people don’t realize that children, even infants in the womb, can suffer from a stroke. The 2017 Wishes for Warriors Auction event helps raise money to bring awareness to Pediatric Stroke. The night started with a silent auction, wine toss, and a photo booth. The main event, hosted by Jim Denver of King 5 Evening and Bender of KISS FM Radio, included prizes that ranged from a “Feed the Beast” party package to weekend getaways on the ocean. At the end of the night, we walked away with some fun auction items, but more importantly we helped to raise $70K for an important cause.
