Time has really flown by! We can’t believe Osborn Consulting is approaching its 19th anniversary. It seems like just yesterday we were a firm of one, and now we have grown to a firm of more than 90 talented, passionate, creative people!
Over the last couple of months, we have added nine new team members. Each brings with them a unique skillset to expand our technical and operational capabilities. If you haven’t already had the pleasure of working with our latest hires, please join us in taking a moment to get to know them better:
In July, we welcomed Eric Lindquist as our newest CADD technician in the Bellevue office, who is working in our Alternative Delivery Practice. He is a seasoned GIS/CADD professional with over two decades of experience in design, mapping, and data analytics. He has also worked in graphic design and owns a 39-year-old house plant!
In August, we welcomed Katrina Tang, EIT as a project engineer in our Water Resources Practice and Gauri Patil as a landscape designer. Katrina pulls from her experience as an intern and from her senior design project. She enjoys reading and exploring new areas. Gauri is very talented in mixing both indoor and outdoor designs. Further enhanced by her background in interior design, she brings a fresh perspective to her field. She loves cars and hopes to get a Porsche one day.
In late August, Evan Estelle, PE joined the Bellevue office as a project manager. He is a University of Washington graduate who has close to 10 years working in the industry. Evan has most recently worked on the I-405 Renton to Bellevue expansion project. He has a passion for exploration and has visited many countries including Egypt, Thailand, and Indonesia.
In early September, Stacy Lara joined the team as our newest project coordinator for our Landscape Architecture Practice. Before joining the Osborn Consulting team, Stacey worked with several of the members of our landscape architecture group for many years at Cascade Design Collaborative. She is excited to build and adapt her role and find creative approaches to support the Landscape Architecture practice.
In late September, we welcomed Matt Olszewski to our Seattle office as a landscape designer and Cheryl Johnson as plan production manager. Matt has a passion for creating sustainable and harmonious spaces for both humans and non-humans. He enjoys taking neglected spaces and, through teamwork, changing them into something beautiful that everyone can enjoy. Cheryl has been involved in many engineering projects, such as the West Seattle high-rise bridge, Hubble, Airports, Marinas as well as Airplanes and Boats. She also enjoys renaissance fairs and performs as a vocalist. Cheryl’s family also includes two miniature horses
In early October, we welcomed Emily Seagar to our Seattle office as a landscape designer. Her love for landscape architecture and design developed from growing up in Washington DC, as well as from her time working in public horticulture in the San Franscico Bay area. Emily strives to connect people to plants, through artful, accessible, and ecologically resilient public spaces.
Most recently, we have added Amanda Eaker as a people operations coordinator. She brings a varied background in administrative, operational, financial, and HR functions, and is eager to contribute positively to employee well-being and organizational success. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys dancing, yoga, reading, and exploring with her dogs, Kubo and Lucy.
We are in an exciting time of growth right now, and it’s so amazing to contrast where we’ve been to where we are now. It’s thanks to our amazing team that we are able to grow and expand to reach new heights. It is our hope that you take the time to personally get to know each of our new hires!
