New Team Members in January 2025

2025 is off to a great start, and we want to look back and reflect on all the growth that happened in the second half of 2024. In these past few months alone, we have had the delight of adding 16 talented, passionate, and creative people to our team.   

Each time we gain a new team member; they bring with them their own unique skillset and Osborn expands our technical and operational capabilities; pushing us into new and exciting heights.  If you haven’t already had the pleasure of working with these talented people, please join us in taking a moment to get to know them better:  

In July, Stephanie Langlois, PE came on as a design build drainage lead in our Alternative Delivery practice. Stephanie arrives with more than 10 years of experience in the AEC industry. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys DIY house projects and training dogs. 

In mid-July, Rose Hrabak and Amy Shultz joined our Finance department as project accountants. Rose loves to cook, and she especially enjoys bringing a new flare to old recipes. Amy enjoys volunteering with animal rescue and creating a safe home for elderly animals. 

In early August, we welcomed Dylan Curtis, EIT as a project engineer in our Water Resources practice. Dylan is a WSU alum, and he once built a 2-foot-long bridge out of spaghetti, superglue, and bamboo. Outside of work, Dylan enjoys a good book and relaxing outside. 

In mid-August, Cayden Kappes joined the team as an IT support specialist. Cayden is a computer magician; he can fix any computer problem thrown his way. He is also an avid video gamer, playing games ranging from action to strategy. 

Also in mid-August, Jessica Christofferson came on as a senior stormwater planner. Jessica has more than 18 years of experience working in the stormwater field. Jessica is a big sports fan and enjoys going to baseball and football games with her family. 

In late August, Jamaal Patterson came on as a CADD technician within the Alternative Delivery practice. Jamaal joins the team with more than 20 years of CAD experience. In addition, to running half marathons he enjoys spending copious amounts of money of plan tickets to travel, domestic and international. 

In September, Starlyn Munsell and Meredith Grupe both joined the team. Starlyn came on as a people operations coordinator and Meredith joined our Landscape Architecture and Urban Design team as a landscape designer. Starlyn has a passion for making people feel welcomed and accepted as they walk into work every day. She also enjoys long distance running when she’s not at work. Meredith started as an intern in our internship program and then came on as a full-time landscape designer. She is a UW alum and loves creating spaces for people and wildlife  that blend beauty, functionality, and sustainability. In her free time, Meredith sings for a local Seattle band. 

In October, Nicole Hernandez, PE joined our Water Resources team as a senior civil engineer. Nicole has over 27 years of experience in the AEC industry, and she’s excited to share her design expertise with others. Nicole also enjoys living in a home surrounded by water. 

In early November, Nasim Esmaeili, PE and Monika Kaneshige, EIT both joined the team. Nasim came on as a project manager in our Water Resources practice and Monika joined our Vancouver office as our most recent project engineer in Natural Resources. Nasim has a passion for making the communities she works in better than when she found them and loves seeing how through stormwater, we can make safer spaces for everyone. Nasim also enjoys hiking in her spare time and loves the great outdoors. Monika joins the ranks as our most recent UW alum and is passionate about finding ways to handle sustainability in the AEC field. In her free time, Monika enjoys playing ice hockey and hanging out with her dogs. 

In late November, Matt Randall, PE came onboard as a senior project manager. Matt is a WSU alum and joins the team with more than 25 years of professional experience. He loves how his work can inspire other people to enjoy nature. Outside of work, Matt enjoys drawing and playing the drums.  

In early January, Hanna Seppa joined the team as an office assistant. Hanna is a Boise State University alum, and she enjoys making connections and helping others succeed. When not in the office, Hanna enjoys spending time exploring nearby walking and biking trails, reading, and either crocheting or knitting.  

Most recently, we welcomed Rachel Allen and Cyrus Oswald to the team. Rachel joined the team as an executive assistant and Cyrus came onboard as a CADD technician. Rachel brings with her over 20 years of experience, and in her spare time Rachel enjoys traveling, hiking, and exploring the Pacific Northwest. Cyrus is a University of Vermont alum and he loves solving environmental problems and getting out in nature.
