Our Leadership
In 2004, Tarelle Osborn founded Osborn Consulting, Inc. (OCI). She envisioned a work environment that matched her own personal values, which are ingrained throughout the company today as our Core Values:
Professionalism and Responsibility
Collaboration and Creativity
Health and Wellbeing
Laughter and Fun
Relationships and Trust
Growth and Exploration
By 2013, OCI had grown from a firm of one to 10 employees. At this time Tarelle began transitioning the company ownership to committed and interested employees in order to assure the continuity of the firm and allow for continued growth. OCI now has a diverse group of employee owners which continues to expand each year. Annually this group of owners elects the company’s five-person Board of Directors.
OCI’s Executive Officers, responsible for the day to day management of the company, have been chosen by our Board of Directors. For many years Tarelle served as the sole executive and President of the company. As the company grew, so did the need for additional leadership. In 2014 Laura was promoted by the Board to Vice President, followed by Robert Parish in 2016 and Laurie Thomsen in 2018.
Today, OCI has over 70 employees. OCI’s leadership has created a place of opportunity for anyone who is as passionate about engineering as well as their own families and hobbies. OCI has been recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of Washington’s Best Workplaces, confirming the hard work that OCI’s leadership and employees have put into creating a unique company culture and exceptional work environment.
Our well-rounded leadership team is the key to OCI’s success over the past years and is what will keep OCI moving forward as a leader in the engineering industry.
