Chico Creek Stream Hydraulic Evaluation & Mitigation Options Analysis

Osborn Consulting performed stream mitigation options analysis and HEC-RAS hydraulic modeling in support of the Design Modification or Replacement of Navy Railroad Trestle at Chico Creek. This work included preliminary engineering, zero rise analysis, cost estimating, and hydraulic analysis for stream and habitat restoration alternatives for an existing rip-rap lined section of creek. Restoration alternatives include roughened channels, pools, a steep boulder cascade, and bioengineered bank stabilization.
