Monticello Creek Watershed Restoration Plan
Osborn Consulting identified and prioritized improvement projects, including stormwater retrofit and in-stream projects, that will improve flow, water quality, and habitat in Monticello Creek. Our team worked collaboratively with the City to develop a Public Involvement Plan, including both online and in-person open houses that provide opportunities for comments. We used SUSTAIN modeling results, optimized for high pulse counts (HPC), to calculate the predicted stream B-IBI and identify the most effective BMPs and budget needed to restore the watershed. We documented existing watershed deficiencies and potential future issues associated with development or anticipated surface/stormwater changes in the region/ watershed, and identified, ranked, and prepared conceptual designs for projects that will restore stream habitat health.
